Hello together,
since I have been active on wikifolio.com for quite a while, I have of course already written several articles on the subject. If you are interested in them, you can find them here:
Part 1 you can read here – What is a wikifolio
Part 2 is available here – Review after 6 months
Part 3 – Investment for everyone. Conclusion after one year
Here you can find information about the strategy of each wikifolios.
In this article I will give you a short update on the status of my wikifolios and on further orientation. In addition, I have created a simple Excel sheet with which you can calculate certain scenarios for placement in the top wikifolio leaderboard.
Status
There are still 8 of my wikifolios investable that means I have reached the maximum number of wikifolios on the platform for private individuals.
Here you can look at the wikifolios and their performance on wikifolio.com.
However, I plan to close some wikifolios. Since I am both private and e.g. in the charity depot rather with ETF I will probably focus on ETF strategies in the long term.
Since I still have one in mind, but I probably won’t want to look after more than two wikifolios in the long run, for that effort/benefit for me are currently out of proportion.
Performance
At the moment things are going well on the stock markets and of course I notice that with the wikifolios.
My index values wikifolio remain the frontrunner. This is now more than 25% higher than the first issue price and currently even just ahead of a comparable MSCI-World ETF. At last!
Since the beginning, this has also performed better than the NASDAQ index and significantly better than the DAX.
The top wikifolio ranking
For a wikifolio to become known, it should have a high score for the top wikifolio leaderboard. However, the official explanation is rather confusing and the criteria change regularly and are sometimes not transparent.
Therefore, I have built a small Excel sheet with which you can draw from the values you know (marked in red in the sheet) to the unknown ones. It can also be used to calculate certain scenarios.
The tool also allows you to get out very quickly that even the best wikifolio in the ranking will not rise if not enough money is invested. But only on the margins.
Anyway, if it makes sense for you then use it, otherwise it’s not bad either.
